Our people are at the centre of everything we do – they are our business. That’s why, when you join us, we offer you a great range of benefits that will help you develop personally and professionally. Here is an introduction to what we offer.
|Employee Benefits||Helping Hands Program|
We're passionate about helping our people grow. So we provide opportunities for you to develop within our organisation. We facilitate a suite of training programs designed to meet your needs and the needs of the organisation. On a professional level we offer secondments, a mentoring program, leadership programs and support with external tertiary study.
Through our family of businesses we can offer interesting and challenging careers. We believe in promoting our people internally and offer opportunities through our Employee Referral program. We also help you plan your career path with our Futures Program and get you ready for that next step.
We recognise and support the need for a healthy work/life balance. And we appreciate that sometimes personal or family commitments demand more of your time. That's why we provide flexible work options such as job share, flexible hours, additional unpaid leave, working from home and career break schemes.
In addition to base salary and superannuation, we recognise our outstanding performers through various incentive arrangements that apply across the business. It's our way of saying thank you for consistently being driven and positive.
We're dedicated to supporting our people by providing help in accessing information and services that they may need. We provide help with:
We offer our employees honorary membership to our 24/7 Roadside Assistance. By becoming a Member you gain access to all of our Member benefits through our family of businesses and our More4Members rewards program.
NRMA as a group of companies covers travel, accommodation and motoring and we offer special employee discounts in all of these areas. This means discounts to products and services with NRMA Holiday Parks, NRMA Car Electrics, Thrifty Car Hire, Travelodge, NRMA MotorServe and much much more.
NRMA Motoring & Services works with five key charity partners to expand our community support and provide more opportunities for our employees to volunteer.
We choose our charity partners based on staff and Member feedback, and they cover a range of sectors, including people with an intellectual disability, medical research, environment, children's illness and youth at risk.
We also support fundraising initiatives such as Starlight Day, Pink Ribbon Day, Red Nose Day, Buzz Day and Jeans4Genes Day.
We encourage staff to show their support through volunteering, workplace giving and ongoing fundraising initiatives.
NRMA staff are given one day's paid leave each year to spend a day in their community. They can select from a range of organised activities with our charity partners throughout the year or with a charity of their choice.
We have had over 250 staff volunteers in the past year, demonstrating a strong commitment to helping in our community.
