Batemans Bay Goes Off - Road With The NRMA

Caravan, RV and 4WD enthusiasts are in for a treat this week. NRMA's newly revamped Mobile Member Centre will bring road safety education and a range of recreational motoring travel and lifestyle ideas to the annual South Coast Caravan, Camping & Holiday Expo in Batemans Bay from this Friday.

NRMA President Alan Evans said expo-goers would be excited with the extensive range of travel options the NRMA has to offer caravan, RV and 4WD enthusiasts.

"NRMA's national Caravan Safaris and 4WD Tours are overwhelmingly popular with Members," Mr Evans said.

"So many people are turning to the caravan and RV experience when thinking of their next holiday and we know this is what our members want.

"The expo will also be a great opportunity for children to try out NRMA's interactive road safety game, RuleSmartz 4 Kidz.

"RuleSmartz 4 Kidz is an NRMA initiative to help kids aged between 7-11 learn about the do's and don'ts of road rules in a fun and entertaining way."

Mr Evans said the Mobile Member Centre had delivered important road safety education to communities throughout regional NSW for the past four years and attended nearly 200 events.

"The Mobile Member Centre's fresh new look will allow expo-goers to see everything the NRMA offers in one glance," Mr Evans said.

"A range of NRMA's travel and lifestyle publications will also be on sale at the expo.

Travellers will especially appreciate periodicals such as NRMA's Caravan & RV magazine which has a wealth of motoring ideas and tips.

"NRMA's regular participation at events such the Caravan, Camping & Holiday Expo in Batemans Bay would not be possible without the great support of its partners in
road safety, Volvo Trucks and Subaru."

NRMA's Mobile Member Centre will be on display at the South Coast Caravan, Camping & Holiday Expo from Friday, 7 to Sunday, 9 November 2008 - 9am to 5pm. Location: Site No. 83 (near entrance gate), McKay Park, Batemans Bay.
