Author: NRMADate: 01 August 2008

NRMA's Darlington Beach Holiday Park, Arrawarra has just been named Best of the Best NSW Holiday/Resort Park and Best Resort/Holiday Park at the Caravan and Camping Industry Association of NSW Awards of Excellence.

The awards are a highly-regarded annual event for the industry, celebrating the success of caravan and camping trade businesses and holiday parks in NSW.

NRMA Director and Chairman of NRMA Holiday Parks Graham Blight said the NRMA was thrilled that Darlington Beach Holiday Park was recognised by the Caravan and Camping Industry.

"Darlington Beach Holiday Park was judged by industry and tourism peers to be the worthy recipient of two awards, plus the additional recognition of one of our trainee staff members Marie Wilson, who won Trainee of the Year - Park," Mr. Blight said.

"Darlington is the perfect holiday destination with the winning combination of scenic beach and bush location, outstanding facilities and services and amenable staff ready to make each and every visitor's holiday a memorable experience."

NRMA Director Wendy Machin concurred with the CCIA's decision to award Darlington Beach Holiday Park its’ prestigious titles.

"Darlington Beach Holiday Park is a north coast jewel, nestled on 6 kilometres of pristine beachfront surrounded by lush subtropical palms and the exquisite Weddings Bells State Forest," Ms Machin said.

"Darlington is a tropical oasis providing a broad range of accommodation styles; including 3BR villas, family cabins and a range of caravan, RV and camping sites, so there are accommodation styles and activities to suit everyone.

"Congratulations to the hard-working staff at Darlington on these fabulous awards."
