NRMA Motorserve Kotara Opens For Business

NRMA Motoring & Services today officially opened its brand new NRMA MotorServe car servicing centre in Kotara.

NRMA Director Kyle Loades said NRMA MotorServe at Unit 3, 154 Park Avenue had been purpose-built to offer a first-class customer-focused car servicing experience.

"A state-of-the-art workshop with the latest equipment is staffed by seven fully experienced mechanics and has the capacity to handle up to 40 cars a day," Mr Loades said.
"MotorServe has also invested in three apprenticeships to help grow local industry talent."

NRMA MotorServe Kotara offers a wide range of services including log book servicing, general car servicing, registration checks and maintenance of batteries, suspension, wheels and exhausts.

Mr Loades said the NRMA aimed to set a benchmark in the car servicing industry and had opened three highly successful MotorServe businesses in Sydney and the ACT last year.

"We developed the idea for NRMA MotorServe after strong demand from NRMA Members for quality, trustworthy car servicing," Mr Loades said.

"I am very excited that the NRMA is now bringing MotorServe to the Newcastle market and am confident the concept will also be embraced by motorists here."

"People have told us they want good, honest car servicing without any hidden costs and that is what NRMA MotorServe will deliver to local customers."

Every service begins with a 15-minute car condition check to assess the status of the vehicle. The customer is then informed of any work required, the time and cost, prior to work commencing.

Any customer requiring major or specialist repairs will be referred to an NRMA approved repairer in the surrounding area.

The service centre environment is completely transparent and people can watch their service from the comfort of a modern customer lounge.

NRMA products and services, including membership, maps, guides, safety advice and special publications are also available.

NRMA MotorServe is open to all motorists, with incentives offered to NRMA Members.

Members receive a 10% discount off labour costs associated with servicing and repairs every time they get a general or log book car service.
