NRMA Purchases Creative Cruising

NRMA Motoring & Services has continued to expand its travel wholesale operations by acquiring established cruise wholesaler Creative Cruising.

Creative Cruising has been operating in the Australian market for almost 15 years. NRMA will take control of the wholesaler from today.

NRMA Director Wendy Machin said Creative Cruising was a respected operator within the cruise sector of the Australian travel industry.

"Creative Cruising has established business relationships with more than 2000 travel agents and strong alliances with all key domestic and international cruise lines," Ms Machin said.

"The NRMA's purchase of Creative Cruising will complement the expansion of our travel arm, adding to the company's overall wholesale travel capabilities.

"The purchase will also offer NRMA Members more travel related benefits in future."

NRMA's acquisition of Creative Cruising follows the company’s acquisition of specialist South Pacific travel operator Coral Seas in September 2007.
