NRMA Motoring & Services Deputy President and local Director Michael Tynan officially opened the latest NRMA MotorServe car servicing business today at Rockdale.
Mr Tynan said the new Rockdale business was the NRMA's sixth MotorServe in Sydney and first in southern Sydney following the success of its Liverpool, Seven Hills, Artarmon, South Strathfield and Brookvale site launches during the past year.
"Rockdale is an ideal location to further expand the MotorServe network with more than 65,000 NRMA Members living within seven kilometres of the new site on West Botany Street," Mr Tynan said.
"We are looking forward to investing in the local automotive industry and will offer apprenticeship initiatives that will help grow local industry talent and bring employment to the area."
NRMA MotorServe Rockdale will have ten mechanics on hand to service up to 30 vehicles a day. Mr Tynan said the NRMA centre would offer a first-class car servicing experience for its customers.
"MotorServe car servicing centres are run under strict operating procedures to ensure service consistency. Services are, 'menu driven' with fixed prices so the customer understands exactly what they are paying for, and why.
"NRMA products and services including membership, maps, and special publications are also available at MotorServe centres while NRMA Members enjoy a 10 per cent discount on labour costs associated with servicing and repairs."

There are now more reasons to smile. While Roadside Assistance remains at our heart, NRMA Membership now means so much more.
