$150,000 In Rebel Sport Gift Cards For Your Sporting Stories

Does your school need new gym equipment? Are you an aspiring cricket star and want a new cricket bat? If you find your head nodding to any of these questions then the NRMA Everyday Sporting Legends program is for you.

Rugby League legend and NRMA Director Geoff Toovey said NRMA Motoring & Services and Rebel Sport had teamed up to support sport in NSW and ACT communities with up to $150,000 in Rebel Sport gift cards.

"We are launching NRMA's Everyday Sporting Legends program today to help local sports teams, schools and individuals to achieve their sporting dreams," Mr Toovey said.

"You don't have to play a high profile sport like rugby league to enter this program - we also want to support popular sports like water polo, snooker, darts and even lawn bowls."

Australian Olympic swimming gold medalist and NRMA Director Dawn Fraser said people should tell the NRMA their stories and upload photos or video footage to www.nrmalegends.com.au whatever their sporting goal.

"This is the perfect opportunity to get the latest sporting equipment which could keep your dream alive - be it to race at the next Olympics or simply to keep playing your chosen sport in the community," Ms Fraser said.

Primary and Secondary Schools, community groups and sports teams can enter for their chance to receive a $10,000 or $5,000 Rebel Sport gift card, while individuals can receive a $500 voucher.

To enter you will also need to submit a NRMA Motoring & Services or Free2Go Membership number with your entry. Just provide the Membership number of a friend or family member if you don't have one of your own.

Rebel Sport is part of the NRMA's More4Members rewards program which gives Members access to a vast range of instant discounts and benefits.
