Australian Classic Car magazine gets behind the wheel of the legendary GT-HO Phase III to celebrate the half-century of the Ford Falcon.
Australian Classic Car magazine Editor Isaac Bober, said the Ford GT-HO classic - worth more than the average family home, had found its place on the cover of the magazine in time for the 50th Anniversary of the iconic Ford Falcon.
"In 1971, the Falcon GT-HO Phase III was the fastest four-door sedan in the world," Mr Bober said.
"Today it's called the King of Australian muscle cars."
Classic Car will put the car through its paces to see if the hero matches the hype.
"We are incredibly excited to test drive the one model which keeps popping up when talking about muscle cars. It is worth $750,000 and near enough irreplaceable," Mr Bober said.
"The July issue is hugely exciting as we will not only celebrate the half-century of the Ford Falcon, which is particularly significant as the Falcon will no longer be designed in Australia, but will also feature an interview with Australian F1 Racing legend Alan Jones"
