Local Footy Clubs Get A Kickalong

NRMA MotorServe Tuggeranong will provide both Tuggeranong Valley, Tuggeranong United FC and Brindabella Blues FC $3,000 worth of Rebel Sport vouchers each to help keep their players kitted out.

NRMA Motoring & Services Director Alan Evans said the NRMA MotorServe Tuggeranong sponsorships would go towards sporting equipment and outfits.

The Tuggeranong MotorServe team is also organising a gala day with a gourmet barbecue, games, prizes and other family fun to be held at the club's home grounds.

"We know how important local sporting clubs are and how much work parents contribute to support their children - that's why we want to hold these gala days to help raise a bit of money for the clubs and give the parents and organisers a hand," Mr Evans said.

"We will also give Rebel Sport vouchers for top individual on-field performances on the day."

On top of the $3,000 worth of Rebel Sport vouchers, each club will also have access to the NRMA MotorServe Tuggeranong centre for a car wash and sausage sizzle fundraising day.

Tuggeranong Valley will hold their gala day at Gowrie Oval from 10.00am until 1.00pm on Saturday 21 August.

Tuggeranong United FC will hold their gala day at Wanniassa Park from 10.00am until 1.00pm on Saturday 21 August.

Brindabella Blues FC will hold their gala day at Calwell Playing Fields from 10.00am until 1.00pm on Saturday 11 September.
