Locally Made Territory Gets A 5-Star Safety Rating

Author: NRMA MediaDate: 22 January 2010

NRMA Motoring and Services today released the latest ANCAP crash test result. The Australian-made 2010 Ford Territory has received a 5-star safety rating across the full range.

NRMA safety expert, Mr Jack Haley, said, "The Territory performed well in previous ANCAP tests but the lack of passenger seat belt reminders meant earlier models were awarded 4-stars for safety in 2006. The January 2010 Territory in both 2WD and 4WD variants has these as standard across the range."

"Ford is now providing 5 star rated vehicles for consumers across most of its range, which is good news for new car buyers," Mr Haley concluded.
