Trusted NRMA Approved Repairer Network Now In Ulladulla

The NRMA Motoring & Services Approved Repairer Network has expanded into Ulladulla - providing the local community with a trusted and certified car servicing and repair centre.

NRMA Director Alan Evans said L & W Automotive Services - the latest of more than 240 statewide NRMA Approver Repairers - had successfully passed the Approved Repairer criteria and suitability assessment.

"Having an NRMA Approved Repairer in the local community benefits Ulladulla NRMA Members as they can now take their vehicle to a trusted repairer, and as an added bonus, receive a 10 per cent discount on labour costs," Mr Evans said.

"Drivers can have their car serviced locally and still comply with the manufacturer's warranty - an area where the NRMA has previously found some confusion exists.

"An NRMA online survey found that 31 per cent of respondents were unaware that while their car was under warranty, it was not compulsory for it to be serviced at a dealership.

"If the mechanic is an authorised service provider, uses original manufacturer parts and the service is recorded in the log book then the car warranty remains valid."

L & W Automotive is involved in the local community, carrying out free rego checks and repairs for Ulladulla Lions Club vehicles.

Mr Evans said this sort of community spirit was a good example why the NRMA Approved Repairer Network had been running for almost as long as NRMA itself.

"Early on, NRMA Members wanted recommendations for reliable repairers who they could trust to carry out automotive mechanical repairs on their vehicles," Mr Evans said.

"Now there are more than 240 repairers across NSW and ACT that form the NRMA Approved Repairer Network."
