Important information regarding NRMA Motorfest

In 2013 Australia will celebrate the Centenary of Canberra and NRMA Motoring & Services will be proudly supporting a number of events to mark this momentous occasion.

As a consequence of our commitments in Canberra next year, we will not be hosting NRMA Motorfest in Sydney on Australia Day in 2013.

Instead we hope you are able to join us to celebrate the Centenary of Canberra at one of the many events in the region during 2013. In particular, over the Canberra long weekend celebrations of 9-11 March, NRMA will hold a car display by Lake Burley Griffin. Followed by the SPIN Weekend, a two day classic car event starting with a rally from Jervis Bay and a show and shine on the lawns of Old Parliament House on 19-20 October.

In addition, the NRMA Classic Car Club with the support of NRMA’s Australian Classic Car magazine will continue to stage the one day rallies and pre-existing motoring events which have proved so popular over the past three years. Join the NRMA Classic Car Club.

By reviewing our program of events to include both metropolitan and regional NSW and ACT, we hope to provide as many opportunities for our 2.2 million Members to participate in NRMA sponsored events into the future.

NRMA will communicate more details on our involvement in the Centenary of Canberra over the coming months in our Community Engagement section. Another great way to stay in touch and up to date with the latest news and events is to like us on our Australian Classic Car Facebook page.

The Australia Day Council of NSW has announced that a Concours d'Elegance 'Best of the Best' competition and Supercar gathering with modern, vintage and exotic vehicles and motorcycles will be held on 26 January 2013, along Macquarie and College Streets, Sydney.
