Alternators

Most of our alternators are new parts. When we do use remanufactured alternators, these are restored to almost new condition.

Our alternators are replaced by our team of qualified auto electricians using top quality parts that meet all Australian standards and come with a 2 year or 40,000km (whichever comes first) nationwide warranty. See the components below.

 

Brackets  Rectifier 
Machined to OE specifications  Fully load tested with "Durst Diode" tester 
Checked for defects  Replaced with OE specification rectifier 

 

 

Rotor  Stator 
Bench tested for shirt and open circuits  Bench tested for shirt and open circuits 
Coated in xylene based electrical insulating varnish for re-insulation purposes  Coated in xylene based electrical insulating varnish for re-insulation purposes 
  Stator leads re-insulated 

 

 

Slip ring Bearings
Replaced or machined to OE specifications Automotive bearings used
Fully sealed
100% replaced

 

 

Pulley Threads
Checked for wear Checked and cleaned
Replaced if needed

 

 

Regulator All units
100% replaced All units are fully bench and load tested prior to packaging
