Starter motors

Most of our starter motors are new parts. When we do use remanufactured alternators, these are restored to almost new condition. Please call us on 13 11 22 for a quote on NRMA starter motor prices for your car.

Our starter motors are replaced by our team of qualified auto electricians using top quality parts that meet all Australian standards and come with a 2 year or 40,000km (whichever comes first) nationwide warranty . See components below.


Internal bush  Front housing 
All internal bushes replaced  Checked for stress and measured to OE specifications 

 

Pinion Clutch
All pinions replaced with OE or aftermarket product All clutches replaced with OE or aftermarket product
Solenoid Planetary gear
Replaced or rebuilt to OE standard Replaced and relubricated

 

 

Permanent magnet field housing Planetary gear cap
Magnets are checked for cracks and distortions Non-stress part reused
Housing is cleaned and checked for OE specifications on size   

 

Armature Motor terminal
Meg tested for shorts and current leakage Checked and replaced if necessary
Brush box & brushes
Brush box is checked for distortion and heat damage and is repaired when necessary for short circuits Brushes replaced
