NRMA Members can join any of these tours using their own 4WD vehicle, this is called Tag-along with Getabout staff providing back up support and commentary via a CB radio. Or Members can join a tour as a passenger in a Getabout 4WD Adventures vehicle. As passengers everything is supplied and you travel with the experienced and friendly guides.
There are many different tours available, all tours are exciting, educational and to some of the most spectacular scenery across the country.
Getabout?s aim is to get people out safely to fantastic destinations with the security of travelling with professionals. We pride ourselves on being a family business with all ages most welcome. Nothing is rushed and the emphasis is on education and a real experience of the great Aussie bush. Many 4WD owners do not know where to go or how to get there and many other people have the adventurous spirit but do not own a 4WD.
Getabout 4WD Adventures also offers 4WD, Towing and First Aid courses. Getabout?s courses give practice and confidence to get out safely. A 4WD is not your average family car and NRMA Members deserve more than average training, our staff are qualified teachers and the course is Nationally Accredited.
