2006 AGM Poll results


NRMA Motoring & Services 2006 Annual General Meeting - Poll results
At the Annual General Meeting of Members held on Friday 3 November 2006, polls were taken on the two items of Special Business as set out in the Notice of Meeting dated 14 September 2006.

The votes cast for and against each resolution, as advised by the Returning Officer and the results of each poll, as declared by the Chairman of the meeting, are as follows:

  • Resolution 1: To amend the Constitution
    "THAT the Constitution of the Company be amended in the manner set out in Part B of the Explanatory Notes in this Notice of Meeting"

 173,872  9,859  Carried (94.63%)
       

  • Resolution 2: To remove Richard Talbot as a Director
    "THAT Richard Talbot be and is hereby removed as a Director of National Roads and Motorists´ Association Limited"

 Votes for  Votes against  Result
 167,534  16,197  Carried (91.18%)

Note:

  • Resolution 1 required at least a 75% majority of the votes cast by Members entitled to vote on the resolution to be carried.
  • Resolution 2 required at least a 50% majority of the votes cast by Members entitled to vote on the resolution to be carried.
