Position Outline
PURPOSE:
Assists the Executive General Manager, Strategy & Capability by performing secretarial and administrative assignments, providing support in analysing business performance, preparing forecasts and budgets, preparing management reports and presentations for business decision making.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
The role will provide executive support within and consistent with established corporate and business unit parameters by:
- Managing the administrative processes to support the Executive General Manager, Strategy & Capability.
- Maintaining the Executive General Manager, Strategy & Capability´s flow of information and documentation and file systems.
- Ensuring and maintaining effective customer and business relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinating payments of accounts within financial delegations authority for the role.
- Managing specific issues at the request of the Executive General Manager, Strategy & Capability.
- Collating, analysing and referring information and material from both external and internal sources and identifying and analysing emerging issues or trends.

Skills and Experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Tertiary Qualification in Business Management or equivalent
KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Excellent organisational skills, especially the capacity to prioritise competing projects and provide high level professional support to executive level.
- Superior verbal communication, influencing, liaison and presentation skills and an ability to deal across all levels of an organisation.
- Superior written communication skills, ability to produce final version reports, conduct analysis, research and report preparation.
- High degree of confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive issues and manage senior executive contact with diplomacy, discretion and tact.
- High level of self motivation and initiative.
- Sound analytical and problem solving skills.
- Superior judgment in handling confidential and sensitive materials, the appropriate use of skills in assertiveness and /or discretion.
- Advanced skills in the use of standard software programs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manner
- Typing skills in excess of 60WPM

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a high pressure environment
- Necessity to travel to and work from all NRMA worksites
- Flexibility in work hours in line with business need and at the request of the Executive General Manager, Strategy & Capability
