1. How do I change my Membership details?

Please note Membership upgrades or downgrades can only be made by calling 13 11 22.
2. Who can make changes to my Membership?
Only the person named on a Membership (or, in the case of a company, its authorised representative) may request a change to Membership details.
Membership fees, however, may be paid by a person other than the Member.
3. Can I add my spouse or partner to my Membership?
No. Your spouse or partner will need to join in their own name. This will give them access to the many benefits of NRMA Membership including our
Show Your Card & Save program,
batteries and
car electrics,
maps,
discounts at major attractions and much more.
4. Can I add my son or daughter to my Membership?
No. Your son or daughter will need to join in their own name. This will give them access to the many benefits of NRMA Membership including our
Show Your Card & Save program,
batteries and
car electrics,

discounts at major attractions and much more.
5. Can a deceased Member's Membership be transferred to someone else?
Yes - a deceased Member's Membership is transferable to the beneficiary of their estate. This involves issuing a new Membership number and transferring the Membership benefits to the beneficiary. We will waive the administration fee for new Members under these circumstances. If the beneficiary is the spouse or defacto partner of the deceased, the Member's accrued Membership years are also transferable.
In the case where a subscription with callout limits is being transferred, any remaining callouts will be transferred to the transferee's Membership.
6. Can I upgrade my Membership package when I breakdown?
Yes, however there are rules surrounding upgrading from different packages you should be aware of. Please refer to
7. Can I upgrade my Classic Care package to cover my trailer or caravan?
Yes. You can upgrade to
Premium Care which provides cover for a trailer. Your trailer will be covered for the remainder of your current Membership subscription.
8. Can I change to another Membership package before my renewal is due?
