Tony Stuart - BComm |
Tony Stuart was appointed Chief Executive Officer of NRMA Motoring & Services in September 2003 with a mandate to stem the financial losses and restore the Association to a financially sound position. The success of Tony's tenure to date is reflected in the growth of the NRMA into a group of businesses including Thrifty Car Rental, Travelodge Hotels and Adventure World Travel among others. Subsequently in 2008 Tony became Group CEO of a family of businesses whose acquisition is delivering more to our members than ever before.
Previously, Tony was CEO of Sydney Airports Corporation Limited, from its initial corporatisation in 1998, and was responsible for providing Sydney's highly successful Olympic gateway during the 2000 Games. He also helped to secure a record price for an Australian privatisation program when Sydney Airport was sold for $5.6 billion in June 2002.
Tony's extensive management career includes executive positions held with Shell New Zealand, Shell International in London and British Airways Plc in the UK. In 1994, Tony joined Manchester Airport as an executive director. In 1996, IATA voted Manchester the world's best airport, eclipsing Singapore airport for the first time. Under Tony's leadership, Sydney Airport achieved this milestone in 2001. Tony was the recipient of the Australian Aviation Personality of Year in 2002.
Tony serves on a number of boards including Australian Automobile Association, Australian Motoring Services, AIM NSW & ACT Ltd, AIM Canberra and Kingmill Pty Limited, trading as Thrifty Car Rental.
He is also a director of NRMA Travel Pty Ltd, NRMA Open Road Pty Ltd, NRMA Limited, NRMA Adventure World, NRMA MotorServe Limited, NRMA Holiday Parks Ltd and the Heart Research Institute.
Tony is married to Pippa and they have two children, Matthew and Charlotte.

Ms Helen Burgess has a dual role as Group General Counsel and Group Secretary. Her experience is as a senior lawyer with expertise in corporate law and corporate governance.
Her previous roles include senior associate at a major law firm, Company Secretary at the Federal Airports Corporation and as General Counsel and Company Secretary at Sydney Airports Corporation Limited.
Ms Burgess has qualifications as BA, LLB (Hons), is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Jeremy Simmons - DipLaw, MLLR |
As Executive General Manager of the Motoring & Member Services division, Jeremy Simmons leads and oversees the Roadside Service Delivery, Membership products, channel distribution and Member Services' activities.
Jeremy began with NRMA as Corporate Legal Counsel reporting to the General Counsel in 2001, following a 5 year term at AMP and AMP Bank. His previous two roles within NRMA were Workplace Relations Manager and General Manager, People & Performance, overseeing specialist teams responsible for a range of staff-related activities.
The priority of the Motoring & Member Services division is to ensure NRMA's core businesses of Membership and Roadside Service Delivery are strengthened. This also includes delivery of all aspects of Membership and Member Services, from Safer Driving Schools to creating further relevant Member value products and offerings.
Jeremy will oversee the Motoring & Member Services division move from good to great Member experiences.
Jeremy has been admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of NSW and holds a Masters Degree in Labour Law and Relations completed at the University of Sydney.

David is a highly experienced marketing and communications professional. He joined NRMA Motoring & Services in mid 2008 as Executive General Manager, Communications.
He started his professional career as a lawyer. David worked for a number of years with national law firm Blake Dawson where he specialised in corporate litigation. From there he took on a senior role with communications consultancy The Rowland Company, which was subsequently acquired by Edelman Public Relations Worldwide.
At The Rowland Company David's initial focus was on corporate and financial transactions, including public share offers such as the privatisation of the NSW TAB, numerous mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructures. Over time David's work broadened to incorporate all facets of corporate communications, with a particular emphasis on issues ands crisis management.
In 2002 David joined international public relations firm Porter Novelli and from 2003 served as that firm's Managing Director in Sydney. This involved leading a large team of professionals consulting to clients in both the public and private sectors across a range of industries.
Born in the UK, David has called Sydney home for more than 25 years and is married with four children.

Alan Tilley - BComm, CA |
Alan Tilley was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in March 2008 following an 18 month period as Deputy CFO during which the Finance team was restructured to better cope with the needs of an increasingly complex and acquisitive NRMA Group.
As CFO Alan is responsible for NRMA's financial integrity including its financial and management reporting, tax planning and compliance. He provides sound financial advice to the CEO and Board and ensures the effective deployment of capital. He also has responsibility for the ICT function including the organisation's systems and communication infrastructure as well as facilities management.
Alan's previous roles include senior finance roles with Brambles in Europe and Transfield in Sydney during which he was closely involved in a number of significant acquisition, divestment and restructure transactions as well as the more traditional financial analysis and reporting activities. Prior to joining Transfield, Alan worked with Price Waterhouse for a number of years in both their Sydney and Paris offices as Audit Manager.
Alan holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
