Fuel shortage

Fuel shortage
For the last several weeks Premium fuels have been out of stock in many service stations in NSW.

This is due to an unexpected problem at Shell's Clyde refinery with equipment which provides high octane fuels.

Shell provides a significant proportion of the fuel supply to NSW so this has impacted many Members.

Coles/Shell stations without stocks of premium have introduced a banner at the end of their pump islands, giving motorists an early warning.

In the meantime, the Caltex refinery at Kurnell is still producing premium fuels, so motorists should shop around the various brands, as Premium fuels are still available.

Standard unleaded and other fuels are still available at Coles/Shell stations.
