2010 NRMA Helping People Awards - Nominate a volunteer today

Nominations for the 2010 NRMA Helping People Awards® have now closed.

Thank you to everyone who nominated a volunteer in this year's awards.

Every year across NSW and ACT, hardworking volunteers lend their helping hands to assist charities in their community. The NRMA Helping People Awards recognise the tireless contribution these people make.

We'll be once again honouring four volunteers in 2010. Each winner will receive a $5,000 donation to the charity they volunteer for, plus a well deserved Australian holiday for two.

Award Categories and Prizes

Young Volunteer Award (Age 16-24)

Prize: Experience Queensland with 5 nights' accommodation at the Travelodge Garden City Hotel, Brisbane and a 3 Park Fun Pass for 2 Adults. Includes return economy airfares for 2 people from Canberra or Sydney to Brisbane.

Community Volunteer Award (Age 25-59)

Prize: Enjoy an East Coast adventure with a $1000 accommodation voucher to spend at one or more of our 5 NRMA Holiday Parks in NSW & QLD, plus a 5 day Thrifty car hire voucher.

Environmental Volunteer Award (Age 25+)

Prize: Experience Western Australia with 5 nights' accommodation at the Travelodge Perth Hotel. Includes return economy airfares for 2 people from Canberra or Sydney to Perth.

Seniors Volunteer Award (60+ years old)

Prize: Explore Darwin and Kakadu with a 6 night tour including 2 nights on The Ghan train from Darwin to Adelaide. Includes return economy airfares for 2 people from Canberra or Sydney to Darwin and then return from Adelaide to Canberra or Sydney.
