2009 NRMA Helping People Awards

Winners for the 2009 NRMA Helping People Awards have been announced!

Across NSW and ACT, thousands of hardworking volunteers put their hands up to help charities in their community. The NRMA Helping People Awards recognise the outstanding contribution these people make.

In 2009, we received nearly 500 nominations from across the state and territory from very diverse areas of volunteering.

Thank you to everyone who nominated a volunteer in 2009!

Our judging panel had a tough decision to make and we are proud to announce this year's four volunteer winners. A very inspiring and determined group of people of all ages, who are making a difference in our local communities.
