Pricing of NRMA membership packages has been adjusted slightly in line with annual CPI figures.

Your continuing Membership allows us to provide the roadside service you value.

Over the past 12 months, we responded to 156,000 Members who locked their keys in the car and over 80,000 who ran out of fuel on the road. We understand that sometimes life just happens, and that's when you need us the most. Helping an NRMA Member means more than just turning up when your car breaks down - it means helping you - 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Our Membership packages are designed with our Members' varied lifestyles in mind. Do you drive a little or a lot? Do you often travel far from home? Are you concerned about the safety of your family should the car fail while they're out and about?

The following 4 NRMA Membership packages include roadside assistance as part of their service.

Premium Care

Premium Care* is total cover package. We now go even further to make sure you do too.

With Premium Care, if you need a tow, we´ll get you back on the road sooner, by organising and paying for a taxi up to $50 per breakdown*. We can also case manage* any repairs needed including offer of and tow to a suitable Approved Repairer. Premium Care has over $3000 of extra benefits including car rental and accommodation, generous towing allowances including trailers or caravans of any length and a dedicated hotline so staff can manage your queries quickly.

In addition, our Premium Care package includes unlimited Roadside Assistance Callouts, a free 6-point Vehicle Health Check* and $100 locksmith service.

Classic Care

Classic Care* - our most popular Membership package covers you throughout NSW, and you receive reciprocal basic level coverage in other states.

The benefits include Unlimited Roadside Assistance Callouts and 20km free towing in metro areas. In country areas, this package offers Members free towing to the town of the attending Country Service Centre.

Basic Care

The Basic Care Package is no longer available to any new or existing Member, except those Members who already currently hold a Basic Care Package. As such, Members cannot purchase, upgrade or downgrade to a Basic Care Subscription Package at any time.

Members who currently hold a Basic Care subscription will continue to receive the existing Motoring Assistance Benefits.

Free2Go

Free2Go is the newest addition to NRMA membership. It is a three year program which has been specifically designed for the lifestyle of 17 to 20 year olds in NSW and ACT.

Year 1 - In the first year of the program, if aged 17/18 you get FREE roadside assistance for 12 months in any vehicle.

Year 2 - If you are 18/19 and in your second year of the program, or aged 19 when first joining the program; you are entitled to half price Freedom Care membership at $38.20 and receive roadside assistance for 12 months in any vehicle.

Year 3 - If you are 19 and in your third year of the program, or aged 20 when first joining the program; pay full price of Freedom Care membership at $76.40 or choose from our regular NRMA membership packages (such as Classic Care or Premium Care) and continue to get roadside assistance for 12 months in any vehicle.

Plus all Free2go Members get access to loads of discounts and giveaways from your favourite brands up until 25 years if you continue to get roadside assistance.

The following 2 NRMA membership packages do not include roadside assistance as part of their service.

Traveller Care

Traveller Care* is designed for those Members who already have manufacturer roadside assistance and only require the additional benefits offered by NRMA Membership; for example, your manufacturer's roadside assistance may not include helping you out if you get stuck in remote regions of Australia. If you do this kind of travelling and want the peace of mind that comes with knowing you'll always be able to call for help and get it, this package is for you.

Traveller Care includes up to $3000 worth of Major Breakdown Assistance, including organising alternative transport for you, your passengers and even your vehicle and/or trailer. If required, we will also sort out accommodation and complimentary car rental. This package also includes Trailer Cover, Accident Assistance and 100km of free towing in remote areas.

Please note that a Traveller Care Membership package can only be purchased in conjunction with another NRMA subscription, which is why the Traveller Care for new Members includes a Club Care subscription as well.

Club Care

Club Care* is designed for Members who do not require NRMA roadside assistance, but would like to retain their NRMA Membership.

It gives you access to discounts at thousands of retailers across 35 countries - NRMA Members receive deals and discounts from participating partners including Travelodge Hotels, Thrifty, Rebel Sport, Secure Parking & Beaurepaires.

With a Club Care Membership you can maintain your years of loyalty with the NRMA as you head towards your Gold Membership status and the discounts and savings this will bring. You also keep your Membership privileges such as access to exclusive deals and the right to vote in company elections, etc. even if you no longer drive, or live overseas.
