NRMA Local Motorists' Forums

NRMA Local Motorists' Forums
NRMA Local Motorists' Forums have recently been conducted in twelve locations across NSW and the ACT. Members were randomly invited to attend in each location to hear the latest developments of NRMA but most importantly to share their views on local road and transport issues.

566 Members attended in total and some very important and interesting issues were discussed.

Key issues to emerge include the importance of flashing lights in school zones, general confusion surrounding roundabout rules, too many speed zone changes, dangerous intersections and hoons just to name a few.

Talking to Members through Local Motorists' Forums provides NRMA with a deeper understanding of those issues that matter locally, and to advocate for change.

Below is a copy of the communiqué outlining the main issues raised at each Forum:

The issues raised at NRMA Local Motorists' Forums will be taken into consideration and developed into a summary of issues that NRMA will present to government on behalf of Members and lobby for action.
