1. Can I purchase Membership on behalf of someone else?

Gift Membership is available for people who wish to give NRMA Membership as a present. Gift Membership costs $142.30 (inc. GST) for Classic Care for a new Member with one vehicle. Find out more about Gift Membership.

2. Can I pay the On Road Join & Go fee by credit card?

Yes, you can only pay the On Road Join & Go fee by credit card at the time you call for roadside assistance. You immediately become a full financial Member of NRMA Motoring & Services and are entitled to all Member benefits.

Cash is not accepted by Patrols.

3. Is there a discount for having more than one car?

The Membership fee is designed to cover costs for providing Membership benefits, in particular roadside assistance. For each vehicle covered, the costs remain the same.

In order to keep Membership affordable, we need to charge the same fee for all vehicles.

4. Is there a discount for having NRMA Insurance?

As an NRMA Insurance customer you are not entitled to any discount on NRMA Motoring & Services Membership packages. However you may be entitled to an insurance discount depending on the number of policies you have. Please refer to the NRMA Insurance website for multi-policy discount details. NRMA Motoring & services is separate and independent form NRMA Insurance.

5. Is there a discount if I pay for more than one year of Membership upfront?

One, three and five year payment options are available for all roadside assistance packages. Three and five year up-front payment options are entitled to a 5 per cent and 10 per cent discount respectively off the annual package fee. Call 13 11 22 for more information.

6. Can I get a refund on any unused Membership?

No, fees paid to NRMA Motoring & Services (including Administration, Subscription and On Road Join and Go fees) are non-refundable.

On Road Join and Go fees are non-refundable regardless of whether the request for assistance is subsequently cancelled, or if the vehicle cannot be repaired or rendered safe to drive by us.

7. Can I get a refund if I downgrade to another Membership package?

No - fees paid to NRMA Motoring & Services (including Administration, Subscription and On Road Join and Go fees) are non-refundable.
