The Quicksilver Group sights Migaloo in Port Douglas!

The Quicksilver Group was in awe of being the 1st to see Migaloo, the only known white whale. This is the 3rd year in a row The Quicksilver Group has been the first to sight Migaloo. The Quicksilver vessel Silversonic sighted MIgaloo off Port Douglas on the 24th July, as they were travelling to Agincourt Reef.

Ocean Walker Helmet Diving - Must be pre-booked Ocean Walker or "helmet diving" is an easy and a fun way to experience the underwater world without getting your hair wet. Up close and personal with the fish life and meters away from a coral bommie this unique experience is on a platform 4.5 meters underwater, amongst the fish and coral reef life.

• Experience the feeling of diving but wearing a helmet and breathing normally through your nose or mouth
• No swimming involved - just walk down the ramp / steps to the platform
• Wear your glasses and keep your hair dry!
• A 10 minute briefing and safety talk before starting the dive
• Maximum 6 divers at a time accompanied by 2 dive instructors
• All equipment provided
• Souvenir certificate on completion of the Ocean Walker helmet dive
• Medical form must be completed and approved by a dive instructor. Some medical conditions and medication may preclude passengers from helmet diving
• Minimum age 12 years, minimum height 135cm
