George Paciullo replaces Mary Easson on NRMA Board


In accordance with her announcement at the NRMA Insurance Group Limited (NIGL) Annual General Meeting, Mary Easson has now resigned as a Director of the National Roads and Motorists' Association Limited (NRMA). Mrs Easson has been a Director since 1997. She has been replaced by Mr George Paciullo.
In accepting Mrs Easson's resignation with reluctance and
regret, NRMA President, Mr Nicholas Whitlam said, "Mary Easson has
been a great contributor to the NRMA since her election more than
four years ago. She has been an active and helpful participant in
all board matters and on a number of committees. She was a popular
Deputy President for the year 2000/01, just completed. We will miss
her at the NRMA".Mrs Easson is a former Federal MP and is Managing Director of
Probity International. She continues as a Director of NIGL.Mr Paciullo is a former NSW Police Minister and, as the
inaugural Chairman of Staysafe, spearheaded the introduction of
Random Breath Testing. He has been Mayor of Liverpool since 1994.
In welcoming Mr Paciullo to the NRMA Board, Mr Whitlam said, "It is
difficult to identify anyone better qualified for this role than
George Paciullo".
