NRMA roadside assistance has been helping NSW and ACT motorists get back on the road for over 80 years. Our fleet of over 500 patrol vans is on duty 24 hours a day, every day of the year to help our Members.

Existing Member and need roadside assistance now?

Please have ready:

  • Vehicle registration
  • Member or road service card
  • Make and model of your vehicle
  • Location of your vehicle (suburb, street and cross street).

Use the NRMA Roadside Assist iPhone application

The NRMA Roadside Assist application allows you to request roadside assistance from your iPhone no matter where you are across NSW and ACT. When you request roadside assistance using your iPhone, the application will send NRMA your location using your iPhone's inbuilt GPS.

Please note online assistance requests are only for:

  • Keys locked in car
  • Car won't start
  • Flat tyre with a roadworthy spare

The online service is available to current NRMA Members who have a More4Members card, excluding Free2Go Members.

Breakdown location is limited to Sydney, Canberra, Newcastle and Wollongong regions.

We answer more than 2.8 million calls for help a year. Our patrols respond quickly, so you know help is on the way, whatever the situation.

Roadside Assistance is available to current NRMA Members in NSW or ACT.

Not an NRMA Motoring & Services Member?

You need to be an NRMA Motoring & Services Member to take advantage of our roadside assistance service. The good news is that you can become a Member on the spot when you require roadside assistance; however you will be required to pay our On-Road Join & Go fee.

Alternatively, take a look at our great Membership packages - Membership with NRMA Motoring & Services means if you breakdown help is just a phone call away.

Plus as an NRMA Motoring & Services Member, you'll have access to roadside assistance facilities with affiliated motoring organisations in Australia and around the world.
