Bunnings Warehouse, Mitre 10 or your local hardware shop. Hardware stores carry a wide range of products for the DIY industry, including tools, fixings, timber, wheels etc.

Ebay
Many things are sold on Ebay. Log onto Ebay to find a range of products that you may need to assemble your pushcart - seatbelts, wheels etc. You will need to register (at no cost) before you can purchase or bid on any item.

Reverse Garbage at Marrickville
A variety of materials may be found at Reverse Garbage. View what has recently arrived or shop online. Reverse Garbage is located at Addison Road Community Centre, 8/142 Addison Road, Marrickville 2204. Trading hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Saturday, 10:00am - 4:00pm Sunday. Free stuff
It's just a matter of seeing it at the right time.

Log onto allclassifieds and you never know what you may pick up in the freebies section. There are a variety of items being given away that may assist the children with the construction of their pushcart.

Markets
Markets sell a range of cheap items that may be useful. There are a variety of markets open weekends across the Sydney metropolitan area, e.g. Bargain Bazaar at Bankstown Paceway, Eldridge Road, Bankstown is open to the public every Sunday, from 9.00am to 3pm.

Local pick ups
The adage: 'One person's trash is another person's treasure', most definitely applies here. You never know what might be outside next to the curb waiting to be collected by the garbage collectors that may be an integral part of a pushcart. 

School community
Place an ad in your school newsletter requesting items that may be used in the construction of your class pushcart. There are many things hidden away in the garage or back shed that parents would be more than happy to donate to assist the school.

Garage sales
A garage sale is a great place to find items that may be suitable for a pushcart. Items are often sold at very affordable prices. Garage sales are often advertised in the local paper, generally providing location, time and items being sold.

'Two Dollar' shops
Stores, such as, The Warehouse, The Reject Shop, Ronnies, Go-Lo etc., are also worthwhile visiting. Tools, fixings, wheels, helmets etc. are sold at low prices.
