As well as good tyres, you also need to make sure your wheels are correctly aligned. Misalignment easily occurs from day-to-day driving activities like bumping the curb, contact with potholes or following front-end or suspension repairs.

Tyre balance

NRMA MotorServe conducts a tyre balance by mounting it on a balancing machine. As a tyre wears, its mass may become more unevenly distributed and this can cause vibrations and shorten the life of tyres, bearings, shocks, and other suspension components.

It's time for a wheel balance when:
