Caterham Australia price cut

Caterham Australia price cut

Author: Isaac BoberDate: 14 January 2011

The strong Australian dollar has enabled Caterham Cars Australia to reduce the cost of its entire 2011 line-up.

The entry level Caterham Seven Roadsport SV 120 is now available from $59,990 drive away (a price drop of $10,000). Indeed, the last time a Caterham could be had for less than $60,000 was back in 1997.

At the same time as reducing the sticker price, the specification of the cars has been enhanced right across the range. For example, the Superlight SV R300 is now standard with a limited-slip differential, dry sump lubrication system, tonneau cover, carbon-fibre front guards, track-day rollover bar, and a battery isolation switch.

Pricing:

  • CSR 175: $85,435 (Plus ORC)
  • Superlight SV R300: $85,355 (Plus ORC)
  • Roadsport SV 175: $73,510 (Plus ORC)
  • Roadsport SV 120: $54,480 (Plus ORC)
