Good news for fans of the brand Down Under, the new warranty announcement also includes five years of free 24/7 roadside assistance. Passenger cars including Megane hatch, Fluence sedan, Megane Coupe-Cabriolet, Koleos and the Latitude medium luxury Sedan are all covered by the extensive new warranty.

The track bred Renault Sport range will remain under the three-year/100,00km warranty banner, while the Renault commercial range continue with the three-year/150,000km warranty.

“We are very pleased that we are now able to offer a five-year warranty for our passenger car customers in Australia,” said Justin Hocevar, Managing Director of Renault Australia. “We see the five-year warranty coupled with this exceptional value proposition of our young range of modern, attainable vehicles, as adding a fundamental benefit to customers who are considering the purchase of a new Renault.”

During the era of the Renault-Nissan alliance, the French brand has benefited from a much more positive position in the market psyche and this impressive new warranty illustrates that they are willing to stand behind their product for the long term. Renault has released some genuinely exceptional vehicles of late and this new warranty is adds further strength to the brand position in Australia.
