And they've done an amazing job. The LEAF features soundproof glass, dampened windscreen wipers and vibration-proof mounts for the electric motor.

In terms of being a practical around town car, the LEAF ticks almost all of the boxes, and with a range of between 100-170 kilometres its got more than enough to get you to and from work each day.
