Follow in the footsteps of Marco Polo and other adventurers as you journey from the fabled Orient, along the Silk Route and beyond to imperial St. Petersburg on the Baltic.

This is an epic journey. From the Terracotta Warriors to the Great Wall, you will encounter China old and new. From Beijing we fly over the Gobi Desert to Mongolia and Terelj National Park where we’ll spend the night in a traditional Ger camp. Then it’s aboard our private carriage attached to the Trans Mongolian Railway and the Trans Siberian Railway for the next stage of our journey to Lake Baikal, across Siberia to Moscow. Our ultimate destination is St Petersburg with the vast Hermitage Museum, the Palace of Peter the Great at Petrodvorets – former summer playground of the Russian Tsars.
