Day 1: Tuesday
Depart Sydney Central Station at 10.05am on-board the CountryLink XPLORER train service. On arrival at Armidale, you will be met and transferred to your accommodation. (D)
Day 2: Wednesday
Today starts with a morning tour of historic Armidale and surrounds, including the New England Regional Art Museum, home to the Hinton collection of Australian art. Next stop is Australia's largest glasshouse tomato farm at Guyra before heading to Ben Lomond for a sumptuous country lunch. The tour continues to Wright Robertson Wines for tasting before continuing to Glen Innes for a guided tour of the town and Standing Stones, carved granite Monoliths that are the focal point for the region's Celtic heritage. Day 3: Thursday
After breakfast at the Land of the Beardies History House, the tour continues to Inverell with a stop along the way at the Bruderhof Community, an international religious movement that draws on the spirituality of the Mennonite and Amish traditions. The day concludes with a brief tour of the town and a visit to the Information Centre. (B,L,D)
Day 4: Friday
In the morning try some sapphire fossicking for the chance to discover this rare and beautiful gem. Enjoy lunch at the Inverell Pioneer Village with its authentic historic buildings relocated from surrounding districts. Travel to Moree this afternoon where you can sample local produce at the Moree Tourist Centre. Relax at the end of the day with a dip in the artesian baths at your accommodation. (B,L,D)
Day 5: Saturday
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Moree Railway Station to meet the 8.25am train service to Sydney. (B)
