Enjoy the real taste of an Australian farm at Hanericka Farmstay. Set on 6000 acres, this authentic working farm, specialising in cereal cropping, cattle and sheep production will introduce you to sheep and cattle mustering, milking, crop harvesting and sheep shearing. It's a real experience - the Australian outdoor life in beautiful surroundings.

Guests are accommodated in comfortable motel-style units adjacent to the 130 year old homestead. There are plenty of activities on offer, or just simply relax and experience the Australian bush and country style cooking. Ideal for individuals, couples, families and retirees.

Itinerary

Day 1
Depart Sydney Central Station at 7.42am daily on aboard the CountryLink Melbourne XPT. On arrival at The Rock, you will be met by your hosts and transferred to Hanericka Farmstay. The afternoon is open to explore the farm. Watch milking and feeding- or take a walk around the beautiful property. Relax in the evening over an Australian-style country dinner. (D)

Day 2
Work off your hearty cooked breakfast by helping feed the animals, including the pet pig, chooks, ducks, lambs and horses or milking the goat, followed by a tour of the farm. Take the opportunity this afternoon to play tennis, relax by the pool, enjoy a horse ride (own expense) or sit around the open fire. (B,L,D)

Day 3
After breakfast, spend a leisurely morning exploring the historic shearing shed and barn displaying a collection of old wares, antiques, local handicrafts and family memorabilia before transferred to The Rock Railway Station to meet the 12.51pm train service for your return journey home. (B,L)
