Explore Australia's Top End and the outback in traditional comfort and style in Gold Service on The Ghan.
Get to know Darwin a little better as you spend half a day seeing the highlights of this relatively small city. Then experience a bit of the Territory on a unique tour to the Adelaide River where you'll get up close, but not too close to the local crocs within this river system. You will be blown away with just how amazing these prehistoric animals are. You'll also visit the Window on the Wetlands Visitor Centre for views overt the Marrakai Plains
After 3 nights in Darwin embark on a 2 night journey from one side of the continent to the other, weaving through a rich tapestry of landscapes on The Ghan.
During the day your twin Gold Service cabin is a comfortable three seater lounge featuring a large window and private ensuite. Ensuite facilities include a hide-away compact toilet, wash basin and shower.
During dinner as you enjoy your sumptuous three course meal in the Queen Adelaide Restaurant Car, your hospitality attendant magically transforms your cabin to an upper and lower sleeping berth complete with fresh sheets, pillows, doonas and complimentary toiletries.
If you much prefer to sleep in a double bed or two twin beds that aren't upper and lower, then talk to our consultants about booking a Platinum Cabin - the newest and best cabins available in Australia.
