Day 1: Arrive Amsterdam
Be met at the airport and transferred to your river ship. Tonight enjoy a Welcome Reception. (D)

Day 2: Amsterdam, Freedom of Choice Touring
Today select from two touring options in Amsterdam - visit the Van Gogh Museum, or take a tour of the city’s famous winding canals. Later, rejoin your ship in Utrecht and cruise the Rhine River. Tonight, enjoy the Captain’s Gala Welcome Dinner. (B,L,D)
Day 3: Cologne - Koblenz
Arrive in Cologne, Germany’s fourth largest city. Later, during lunch on board, the ship continues along the Rhine past quaint villages and dramatic landscapes to 2,000 year-old Koblenz. (B,L,D)
Day 4: Rüdesheim
Cruise through the Rhine Gorge on what is known as the Rhine’s most beautiful stretch. Later, arrive in Rüdesheim, a Rhine Valley wine town. Here, the Winzerexpress mini-train will take you to Siegfried’s Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum. (B,L,D)
Day 5: Freudenberg, Wertheim, Freedom of Choice Touring
From Freudenberg, travel by coach to Wertheim. Perhaps embark on a guided bicycle tour, take in a glass-blowing demonstration, or go for a paddling tour on the Tauber River. Afterwards, enjoy a tour of medieval Wertheim Castle before a medieval themed evening. (B,L,D)
Day 6: Würzburg, Rothenburg
Arrive in Würzburg, the capital of Lower Franconia and a crucial centre for wine and trade. After a tour, enjoy time at leisure or take an excursion to medieval Rothenburg. After dinner, your ship continues for Bamberg. (B,L,D)
Day 7: Bamberg
Tour Bamberg’s streets of charming houses and 18th century mansions. Then, during time at leisure, you have the chance to visit a traditional Bamberg Beer Haus and enjoy a local brew compliments of APT. (B,L,D)
Day 8: Nuremberg, Freedom of Choice Touring
Today, select from two touring options. On arrival here, perhaps take a World War II tour and visit a range of historically significant sites from the war. Or take a medieval tour and see the Imperial Castle and more. (B,L,D)
Day 9: Regensburg
Arrive in Regensburg, one of Germany’s best-preserved medieval cities. The streets of Regensburg are bicycle-friendly, so you may even like to borrow one of our bikes and take in the sights from a different perspective. Tonight, enjoy a music performance on board after dinner. (B,L,D)
Day 10: Passau, Freedom of Choice Touring, Linz
This morning arrive in Passau, where the rivers Inn and Ilz join the Danube. Here, you’ll disembark and select from three touring options. After dinner tonight, perhaps enjoy an evening stroll through Linz. (B,L,D)
Day 11: Melk, Freedom of Choice Touring, Dürnstein
Cruise through the Strudengau region to the pretty Wachau Valley and take a guided tour of Melk Abbey. After a choice of touring activities, you’ll have the opportunity to sample Wachau Valley wines. (B,L,D)
Day 12: Vienna, Freedom of Choice Touring
Today, enjoy a full day to savour the elegance of Vienna. This morning, select from our unique range of Freedom of Choice Touring options. After dinner this evening, you may like to join us for an optional Mozart and Strauss concert (own expense). (B,L,D)
Day 13: Vienna - Bratislava, Freedom of Choice Touring
Arrive in Bratislava and join your selected Freedom of Choice Touring activity before enjoying time at leisure to further explore. Later, re-board your ship for dinner and an eve-ning music -performance.(B,L,D)
Day 14: Budapest
Disembark for an intriguing tour of Budapest. In the afternoon, visit the Hungarian State Opera House for a tour, a glass of champagne and a private opera recital. Day 15. Disembark Ship, Depart Budapest
