Sydney Open

Red Bull Flugtag
10 Nov | Mrs Macquarie's Chair, Sydney
Witness the fearless and foolhardy pilot home-made flying machines off a six metre high platform in the hopes of soaring into the skies (though it's more likely you’ll see them plummet into the harbour below) at Red Bull Flugtag, which means “flying day” in German. Pushing the envelope of human-powered flight, teams are judged on flight distance, creativity of the craft and showmanship – a criteria which has inspired flying tacos and prehistoric pterodactyls to run the flight decks in the previous years. Located at Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair, it's a free, non-ticketed event and a guaranteed fun day out for all the family.
L'Étape Australia 2018

L'Étape Australia by Tour de France is a unique road cycling event that provides an experience as close to riding in the Tour de France as it is possible for an amateur to get. But you don't have to be a participant or even a cycling enthusiast to enjoy the event festivities. Soak in the race atmosphere, sample the local food and drink, and explore the delights the Snowy Mountains region has to offer.
