FAQs

Australian Outback Spectacular's Heartland plunges guests into the outback with a compilation of dust and beauty, drought and rain, in a transformative arena that appears to spin, turn and shatter. Enjoy a true Australian story with characters, Reg and Marge, two struggling farmers who battle to muster their cattle off the farm to save their stock from the harsh realities of living on the land.

The venue is located just off the Pacific Motorway at Oxenford in the Gold Coast, between Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet’n’Wild theme parks. It is either a 20-minute drive north of Surfers Paradise or 45 minutes south of Brisbane.

The show is held within the Iconic Red Roof venue which has been created to give the audience a true sense of the Australian Outback. Expect a corrugated iron roof, fully themed landscape and scenic backdrops, heavy timbers, galvanized railings and old fashioned wagon wheel light fittings.

Address: Pacific Motorway, Oxenford, Gold Coast, Queensland 4210

Brisbane Airport is a 1 hour 30 minute flight from Sydney. From there, the theme park is a 70km drive south or two connections on public transport (about 2 hours). For timetables, or more information or to plan your journey visit TransLink or call on 13 12 30.

If you’ve arrived in the Gold Coast by plane and you don’t like the idea of using public transport or taxis, consider picking up a rental car from the airport.
