Movie World ticket offers

Movie World tickets are priced per person for guests three years old and over. Children under the age of three can enter the park free of charge. Make sure you get the cheapest ticket deal by purchasing yours in advance online. As an NRMA member, you can enjoy discounted Movie World tickets and passes so you can experience even more of the Gold Coast’s theme parks. Warner Bros. Movie World has plenty of attractions designed for young kids, including the Hollywood Stunt Driver show and the Looney Tunes 4D show. The Scooby- Doo Coaster, Justice League 3D and Road Runner coasters give young ones a chance to experience the ride action too at a gentler pace.

Although you are not permitted to bring your own food in, fruit and bottled water can be brought in with you. Further exceptions are made for babies and infants, as well for those with food allergies. The park’s setting is level and spacious, making it accessible for prams. Children aged two and under enter free of charge. Children from three years and above require a ticket.

Besides enjoying the thrilling rides and rollercoasters, guests can enjoy a full lineup of high-quality shows and entertainment. Watch the Hollywood Stunt Driver 2 show, spot all your favourite characters at the Streets Star Parade or enjoy a 4-D experience at Roxy Theatre. Don’t forget to enjoy some retail therapy and shop for all of your souvenirs and refuel at a wide range of food and drink outlets from Mexican fusion to burgers, ice cream and sweet treats.

Guests can experience Movie World in one full day, however, if you want to experience the rides more than once or take your time, then a multi-day pass gives you the flexibility to experience all of the rides, attractions, shows and entertainment throughout the various Village Roadshow theme parks including Sea World and Wet’n’Wild with unlimited entry.

The park is open all year round from 9.30am until 5pm, except Anzac Day (25 April) and Christmas Day (25 December). Rides open from 10am and close at 5pm.

Rides and attractions are subject to change to enable maintenance and some rides and attractions will not operate during inclement weather conditions. Please note queue lines may close earlier to allow attractions to finish in line with park closing times.

Warner Bros. Movie World is located just off the Pacific Motorway at Oxenford in the Gold Coast, Queensland 4210.

By Car: The shortest drive from Sydney is about 860km. We’d recommend making the most of the journey by stopping overnight along the way at an NRMA Holiday Park. You can also plan your route using the My NRMA app to get cheap fuel and food along the way.

By plane: Gold Coast Airport is a 1 hour and 20 minute flight from Sydney’s Kingsford Smith. From there, the theme park is 40km north – you could rent a car at the airport or take three connections by public transport (under 2 hours).

Brisbane Airport is a 1 hour 30 minute flight from Sydney. From there, the theme park is a 70km drive south or two connections on public transport (about 2 hours). For timetables, or more information or to plan your journey visit TransLink or call on 13 12 30.

If you’ve arrived on the Gold Coast by plane and prefer not to use public transport or taxis, consider hiring a rental car from the airport. NRMA members can get 15% off the daily rate with SIXT, plus no additional driver fee. You can find the SIXT rental car office within the Coolangatta terminal at Gold Coast Airport. You should book in advance to get the best rates.
