Since the beginning of our history, the NRMA has stood for accessibility of movement for its members.
The foundation of Australia's largest member organisation, came about through a few Sydney motorists unsatisfied with the Government's inaction of maintenance and development of roads. That was in 1920, but as we approach a new frontier of mobility, the NRMA are taking the same steps to facilitate a new transition for its members.
Electric vehicle's are already available in Australia, however, similar to the introduction of combustion automobiles, the current infrastructure has restricted member use and uptake of EVs.
We still provide the best roadside assistance and will continue to service our 2.6 million Members. However now days, an NRMA membership also gives discounts to our member owned holiday parks and resorts (nationwide), movie tickets and car rentals through SIXT (Australia and NZ). Members can also access cheap fuel and parking through the My NRMA app.
With the addition of EV fast charger network, we hope to keep our members moving however and wherever they choose.
