Sydney Good Food Month

Showcasing the best of local and international cuisine, Good Food Month returns to Sydney with a month-long gastronomic festival program that will excite the most ardent of foodies. Among the showcases, discussions and masterclasses with world-renowned chefs will be an array of culinary events, food tours, street markets, community picnics and barbecues, to taste and drink your way, including our favourite Night Noodle Markets.

Sculpture by the Sea

18 Oct - 4 Nov, Bondi Beach, Sydney

Now in its 22nd year, Sculpture by the Sea is undoubtedly one of Sydney’s key annual arts events, drawing in crowds of more than 500,000 to view displaying 100 pieces of work by artists from Australia and across the globe that have transformed the 2km Bondi to Tamarama coast walk transformed into a sculpture park.

Melbourne International Arts Festival

03 - 27 Oct, Various locations, Melbourne

From soaring cathedrals of sound to the sweat of the circus and boxing rings, this year’s Melbourne International Arts Festival will be an extraordinary adventure through global and local arts, filled with inspiring experiences for people of all ages. The spectacular line-up of dance, theatre, visual arts, architecture, contemporary and classical music, and free events will take place throughout the city in a number of iconic spaces, including the Royal Botanic Gardens and Hamer Hall. 

Supercars Vodafone Gold Coast 600

19 - 21 October, location tbc, Gold Coast

Strap yourself in for three days of sun, surf and Supercars, where Surfers Paradise roars into high-octane action for the Supercars Coast 600. See drivers battle it out on one of the world's toughest street circuits at the PIRTEK Enduro Cup final, Super Stadium Trucks reaching 220km/ph and jumping man-made ramps, as well as a solid line-up of local and international music acts.

Renmark Rose Festival

18 – 27 October, Adelaide

Spanning towns across the Riverland over 10 days, the Renmark Rose Festival is a celebratory showcase of the region and its communities’ rich history, agriculture, orchards and wine industry. The myriad of events include a festival fair, cocktail nights, open gardens, of which the Renmark Township’s rose gardens, with its 51 garden beds consisting of in excess of 3,500 rose bushes spread throughout the town are a must-see.

Seafarers’ Festival 

28 Oct, Hobart, Tasmania

All aboard Bellerive Boardwalk for a unique action-packed family day of music, comedy, water activities, competitions, maritime and history stalls, kid’s play, food and wine on and by the sea at the Seafarers' Festival. The best part? It's free!
