Lane Cove National Park is a pocket of native bushland close to the hotel that is ideal for hiking, boating or birdwatching. Sydney Olympic Park, a major leisure facility that contains sporting and concert venues, parks and plenty of activities (Segway ride, anyone?), is just 20 minutes away. Koi Dessert Kitchen in Ryde is a drawcard for the sweet of tooth, while Lachlan’s Restaurant in the university grounds is an excellent fine diner.
