The RSPCA - The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals - is Australia's pre-eminent animal welfare organisation.

They provide a strong voice for animals experiencing cruelty and neglect. The RSPCA is not a government agency and receives only a very small amount of funding from the Government. They rely on the generosity of the community and their own fundraising initiatives to fund their vital work.

The RSPCA is committed to the care and welfare of animals, providing extensive professional facilities, including fully equipped veterinary hospitals and a state-wide shelter network.

Living Ruff

Every day, right around Australia, there are people with pets without a place to call “home”.

Often, this is through unexpected circumstances and for reasons beyond their control that may be very stressful and traumatic.

RSPCA NSW wants to provide a range of community outreach services for homeless pets and their people, to help them remain together while they get back on their feet, and to be as healthy and happy as they can be.

NRMA is proud to support this innovative program.

Million Paws Walk

The RSPCA Million Paws Walk is on the second Sunday in May and is one of the biggest fundraising events for the organisation. It involves thousands of people and dogs registering, fundraising and participating in walks held across Australia.

Children, adults, families, friends, neighbours, teams and corporate teams can all enter the event. Dogs are the only animals allowed to participate.

NRMA will proudly support this event in NSW in 2012.
