Australia's Best Cars Winners

sample

Australia’s Best Cars awards are Australia’s most important car awards, and are conducted by the Australian Automobile Association, the NRMA and six other state auto clubs - RACV, RACQ, RAASA, RACWA, RACT and the AANT.

For this annual event, 45 finalists are rigorously road tested over five days. As well as performance, factors such as Depreciation, Running and Repair Costs, Fuel Consumption and Safety are taken into consideration in selecting the winning cars.

The final result is 15 category winners, all judged to be Australia’s top cars. Of those, the best of the best is named as the Judge’s Choice – in 2013 that car is the impressive Mazda6 Touring.

NRMA provided three judges this year – motoring writers Tim Pomroy and Trent Nikolic, and Open Road editor Suzanne Monks.
