You'll have the chance to walk the Great Wall and encounter the terracotta army of the first Chinese Emperor in Xi'an. A cruise along the Yangtze reveals the magnificent Three Gorges and a visit to Guilin affords a glimpse of provincial life with wooden houses, water buffalo in rice paddies and fishermen floating on bamboo rafts.
