This is a complete journey of The Territory. Members save up to $862 per couple if they book by 31 Aug 12.
In this complete Territory package, you travel in Gold Service on the Ghan. In a Gold Service twin cabin the lounge can accommodate three people comfortably during the day. At night, your hospitality attendant will magically convert your cabin to an upper and lower sleeping berth with a ladder for the top bed. Twin berth sleeper cabins have private ensuite facilities with a hide-away compact toilet, wash basin and shower.
Single berth sleeper cabins feature a comfortable lounge chair and foot rest by day and a single level sleeping berth at night. Cabins are fitted with a wash basin. Showers and toilets are located at either end of the Gold Service carriage.
Dine in the classically styled Queen Adelaide Restaurant car where each meal is carefully prepared by the onboard chefs. Enjoy hearty breakfasts, two course lunches and three course dinners – dietary meals are available but understandably these need to be requested ahead of time - at the time of booking is ideal.
Just a short stroll from your sleeper cabin and the restaurant car is the stylish and cosy Outback Explorer Lounge with a fully stocked bar. Without doubt, this is the central social hub of the train, where you’ll get to know your fellow travellers from around the globe, or you can just relax and watch the picturesque scenery of both sides of the train flash past.
