What extra precautions should I be taking?
We advise everyone to be extra vigilant with hygiene and avoiding large crowds while COVID-19 restrictions are still in place. To stay as safe as possible it is best to adhere to the below:
- Follow the rules for NSW gatherings
- Follow physical distancing guidelines
- Practice good hand hygiene
- Wear a mask when unable to physically distance
- Avoid public transport during peak times
- Take extra care around vulnerable people
- Stay home if you feel unwell

How will I know if my accommodation is COVID-19 safe?
It is best to see what preventative measures your desired accommodation has in place before booking. Most places should be adopting extra cleaning practices and social distancing measures to make sure there's no overcrowding.

Is there a risk I may be stranded somewhere?
We advise those going away to stick closer to home and avoid leaving NSW (see our suggested road trip ideas below). Those wanting to travel to Queensland or other states could find themselves needing to quarantine for 14 days, but there is no risk of being stranded.
