NRMA Motoring & Services local Director Dawn Fraser officially opened the latest NRMA MotorServe car servicing business today at Marrickville.
Ms Fraser said the new Marrickville business was the NRMA's seventh MotorServe in Sydney following the success of its Liverpool, Seven Hills, Artarmon, South Strathfield, Brookvale and Rockdale site launches over the past 18 months.
"Marrickville is an ideal location to further expand the MotorServe network with more than 140,000 NRMA Members living within seven kilometres of the new site on Smidmore Street," Ms Fraser said.
"We are looking forward to investing in the local automotive industry and will offer apprenticeship initiatives that will help grow local industry talent and bring employment to the area."
NRMA MotorServe Marrickville will have six technicians on hand to service up to 30 vehicles a day.
Ms Fraser said the NRMA centre would offer a first-class car servicing experience for its customers.
"MotorServe car servicing centres are run under strict operating procedures to ensure service consistency. Services are 'menu driven' with fixed prices so the customer understands exactly what they are paying for, and why.
"NRMA products and services including membership, maps, and special publications are also available at MotorServe centres while NRMA Members enjoy a 10 per cent discount on labour costs associated with servicing and repairs."
NOTE: Ms Fraser and NRMA Group CEO Tony Stuart will officially open MotorServe Marrickville at 3.30pm today (Monday 16 March 2009). Ms Fraser and Mr Stuart are available for media opportunities. Address: 52 Smidmore St.

There are now more reasons to smile. While Roadside Assistance remains at our heart, NRMA Membership now means so much more.
