Wollemi Wanderings

Touring through remote areas of the Wollemi National Park, we have access to three private properties that are on the edge of this magnificent wilderness. We will discover a hideout once used by Captain Starlight, made famous in the book “Robbery Under Arms”. Feel a shiver as you pass through deep gorges and see the spectacular colours of the sun on the ancient sandstone cliffs. We make our overnight camp on private property beside a pristine mountain stream.

Turon/Hill End

Great scenery, river crossings and low range 4WD trails await us on this delightful tour. Follow the Turon River from it’s source to where it enters the Macquarie River. You will feel as if you are a million miles away from the hassles of home as you enjoy the scenery, breathe the fresh mountain air and explore little used 4WD trails. Overnight accommodation in historic Hill End and try your luck at gold panning. Traverse the scenic Bridle Trail as we head to Bathurst.
